Travel and Stay

Getting to castlemaine

The best and most environmentally friendly way to get to Town Folk is public transport. Take the train from Melbourne on the Bendigo line. 1 hour 20 mins to Castlemaine.

The last train back to Melbourne departs before the festival ends but Vline have arranged buses departing at 11pm from Castlemaine Train Station and arriving at Southern Cross at 12.30am.

If driving to the event, please use the free parking at Don KR factory. A free shuttle bus will transport you from there to the site (2 min drive).

Getting Around

All stages are within close walking distance of one another. The main stage will host The Teskey Brothers, Marlon Williams, Ngaiire, Tek Tek Ensemble, A. Savage, The Maes and Yirinda with no clashes. Other artists will perform at the neighbouring venue stages at The Mill and The Bridge Hotel.
